Dental Experts y Esthetic is a multi-specialty dental clinic in Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic. It operates two branches – one in Ciudad Juan Bosch and another in Gazcue. Four specialists provide care across major dental disciplines, including implantology and oral rehabilitation.

Medical Expertise and Team

Dr. Ruth Esther Aquino Cordero leads the medical team. She has over 20 years of experience. She earned her Doctor of Dentistry from Ibero-American University and specialized in Oral Implantology at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo. Dr. Aquino Cordero coordinates care for international patients and speaks English and Portuguese.

Three additional specialists support the clinic's departments:

• Dr. José Miguel Fernández
• Dr. Anibel Pichardo
• Dr. Massiel Aquino

This team manages the care pathway from diagnosis to long-term oral rehabilitation for local and traveling patients.

Dental Specialties and Procedures

The clinic focuses on functional and cosmetic dental restoration using a staged treatment model. Specialists handle complex oral health needs across several sub-specialties.

Implantology and Periodontics

Specialists place endosteal implants to replace missing teeth. After surgery, osseointegration – the bone healing phase – takes 3 to 4 months. Most patients return to normal activities within 24 to 48 hours.

Aesthetic Dentistry and Smile Design

The clinic offers several cosmetic options to improve tooth appearance and alignment:

• Beyond Whitening and laser teeth whitening systems
• Custom smile design and veneers
• Aesthetic resin applications
• Orthodontics using traditional braces or clear aligners

Digital smile design lets patients preview expected results during the planning phase.

Restorative Care and Pediatric Dentistry

Restorative services include endodontics, which treats the tooth nerve to preserve natural tooth structure. A dedicated pediatric dentistry service helps children build healthy oral habits and provides age-appropriate care.

Diagnostic Technology and Equipment

Dental Experts y Esthetic uses digital diagnostic technology and partners with certified labs for prosthetic manufacturing. These tools help create precise treatment plans before procedures begin.

The clinic has several diagnostic and planning systems:

• DIAGNOCam for early cavity detection without X-rays
• Intraoral scanning for digital impressions
• Digital Smile Design (DSD) software
• Panoramic and periapical X-ray imaging
• Computer-aided design for restorative planning

Advanced local anesthesia is available for surgical procedures. Patients may also choose conscious sedation for added comfort during implant surgery.

Services for International Patients

The clinic answers all patient requests within 24 business hours. Virtual consultations are available through Zoom, Google Meet, or WhatsApp. Specialists review diagnostic images to create a tentative treatment plan remotely.

Formal budgets and treatment plans arrive within 48 to 72 hours after the clinic receives images. The entire medical team is bilingual, so communication stays clear throughout consultations. The clinic uses a staged payment model and accepts external financing arranged in advance.
