DentalLo SRL Тіс өсiгiн орнату

DentalLo is a multi-specialty dental clinic in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. Four specialized departments operate in a single building. The clinic focuses on integrated oral rehabilitation using an implant–prosthesis assembly concept.

Advanced Dental Implantology

The clinic reports a 95% success rate for dental implant procedures. Surgeons use biocompatible titanium screws to mimic the natural tooth root. This provides a stable foundation for crowns, bridges, and dentures.

Specialists offer several installation pathways based on bone health:

• Single-appointment installation for efficient treatment.
• Immediate loading – the prosthesis is placed within 48 hours.
• Traditional healing over 2 to 6 months for osseointegration.

Osseointegration is when bone grows around the titanium implant. During this time, the team provides temporary prosthetics to maintain aesthetics.

Dr. Joaquín López Marcos heads the implant department. He holds a Master in Dental Implants from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil.

Prosthetic and Restorative Dentistry

The clinic uses highly esthetic materials like porcelain for restorations. These materials mimic how natural teeth reflect light. Prostheses replace tooth structure lost to trauma or decay. This helps balance chewing and prevents jaw joint pain.

Prosthetic options include:

• Fixed dental bridges to replace missing teeth.
• Porcelain and metal-ceramic crowns.
• Zirconia dental implants for high aesthetic demands.
• All-on-4 restorations for full-arch replacement.

Dr. Richard Torres specializes in restorative dentistry and fixed prostheses. The team builds every restoration on the patient's remaining tooth structure for stability. This restores both function and smile aesthetics for long-term results.

Periodontology and Gum Health

The periodontology department treats periodontitis to prevent tooth loss. Specialists perform deep cleaning and root planing to decontaminate root surfaces. This restores the health of supporting tissues.

Dra. Dilcia Cruz leads this department. She trained at the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

Periodontal health is critical for implant success. The team distinguishes between gingivitis, which is reversible, and periodontitis, which causes bone loss. Treatment outcomes depend on patients following daily care protocols provided by the clinic.

Diagnostic Technology

Treatment planning relies on 3D CBCT scans. This technology shows three-dimensional views of bone and nerve structures. It allows for safer implant placement and more accurate surgical guides. OPG panoramic X-rays provide a broad view of the oral cavity.

At the first appointment, doctors perform a detailed oral health exam. They use these imaging tools to build a complete treatment plan. This addresses functional needs and aesthetic goals before any procedure begins.

International Patient Care

DentalLo treats international patients using a team-based approach for complex cases. English-language materials help patients understand their treatment options. All specialists hold advanced qualifications, including Master's degrees and international certifications. Four specialized doctors work across different dentistry branches.
