Dr Moïse Tourabaly is an ophthalmologist and eye surgeon practising in Cachan (Val-de-Marne) and Paris. A former Chef de Clinique at the Hôpital National des Quinze-Vingts (Sorbonne Université), he performs refractive surgery (LASIK, PRK, SMILE, PresbyLASIK, phakic ICL implants), cataract surgery, corneal surgery including corneal transplantation (DMEK, DALK, penetrating keratoplasty) and vitreoretinal surgery (vitrectomy, retinal detachment, epiretinal membrane, macular hole). Patients are followed by the same surgeon from the first consultation to post-operative care. Dr Tourabaly consults in French and English, and his website drtourabaly.fr is available in 11 languages (French, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic and Tamil).
Laser refractive procedures are performed at the Clinique Laser Victor Hugo (Paris 16) with the Zeiss VisuMax 800 femtosecond laser and the Schwind Amaris 750S excimer laser. All other operations take place at the Clinique Sainte-Geneviève (Paris 14). The preoperative assessment and post-operative eye drops are billed separately from the surgical fee; a written quotation is provided before any procedure.

At the Clinique Sainte-Geneviève. Phacoemulsification through a 2.2 mm sutureless micro-incision, under local anaesthesia, 15 to 30 minutes per eye. Monofocal, toric, multifocal or EDOF intraocular lenses are chosen according to the preoperative biometry and the patient's needs. The two eyes are usually operated 1 to 4 weeks apart. Follow-up visits on day 2, at one month and at one year. Lens exchange (IOL replacement) is also performed.
At the Clinique Laser Victor Hugo: LASIK, PRK/trans-PRK, SMILE and PresbyLASIK, with the Zeiss VisuMax 800 femtosecond laser and the Schwind Amaris 750S excimer laser. Follow-up on day 1 and at one month for LASIK and SMILE, on day 3 or 4 and at one month for PRK. For patients who are not candidates for laser (thin cornea, high myopia), phakic ICL implants are placed at the Clinique Sainte-Geneviève, with follow-up on day 1, day 7 and at one month.
Keratoconus: corneal cross-linking (Dresden protocol), topography-guided PRK (Teneo platform) and intracorneal ring segments at the Clinique Laser Victor Hugo. Corneal transplantation – DMEK, DALK and penetrating keratoplasty – and pterygium surgery at the Clinique Sainte-Geneviève.
Vitrectomy, retinal detachment, epiretinal membrane and macular hole surgery at the Clinique Sainte-Geneviève. Screening and follow-up of diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration, including intravitreal injections, at both offices. Glaucoma is followed medically, with SLT laser when eye drops are not sufficient.
The preoperative refractive assessment (corneal topography, biometry) is done in Cachan or at the Paris 5 office.
