International patients frequently visit for specialized procedures. Some travel from as far as Switzerland for breast implant removal and reconstruction. The clinic focuses on individualized safety through pre-surgical risk evaluations and post-operative planning.

Breast Surgery and Reconstruction

The clinic focuses on aesthetic and reconstructive breast procedures. Specialists manage complex cases such as breast implant removal (explantation). This process often includes reconstruction to restore shape using several methods:

• Mastopexy (breast lifting) to reposition tissue
• Lipotransfer using the patient's own fat
• Flap surgery for volume restoration
• Surgical correction of breast asymmetry

For breast lifting, surgeons use strategic incisions around the areola or breast fold. They remove excess skin and reposition the gland under general anesthesia. The clinic also performs breast augmentation and reduction. Periodic checkups monitor implant integrity over time.

Body Contouring and Facial Rejuvenation

Body transformation procedures include post-bariatric work and postpartum "mommy makeover" plans. The clinic offers multiple abdominal techniques:

• Standard abdominoplasty (tummy tuck)
• Extended-scar abdominoplasty for massive skin removal
• Fleur De Lis tummy tuck using a T-inverted incision
• Abdominal etching for high-definition muscle definition
• Panniculectomy to remove hanging skin folds

Facial surgery options include endoscopic facelifts and rhytidoplasty (standard facelift). The clinic also performs eyelid surgery, otoplasty (ear correction), and neck tightening. For non-surgical options, facial rejuvenation is available using Plexr plasma technology.

Advanced Technologies

The clinic uses VASER liposuction for high-definition body contouring. This ultrasound-based technology targets fat while preserving other tissues. Surgeons also offer "surgery without scalpel" approaches. These methods use local anesthesia, which reduces bleeding and shortens recovery time. Real-time visualization guides specific implant extraction procedures.

International Patient Services

The clinic supports foreign travelers through a medical tourism framework. Services include personalized treatment plans created before the patient arrives in Bogotá. Dr. Ferrer provides medical assessments to set realistic expectations. Patients receive detailed post-operative instructions to manage healing and reduce risks like bruising or infection.
