If you’re still searching for the right rhinoplasty surgeon, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Yunus Kaplan.
It took me years to make this decision. My nose was not particularly unattractive to begin with, so I had very little room for error. I wasn’t simply looking for a good surgeon. I wanted the very best, and I truly believe I found him.
What makes Dr. Kaplan exceptional is his rare combination of medical expertise and artistic vision. As an ENT specialist (otolaryngologist), he has a deep understanding of nasal function and anatomy. Aesthetically, he is a true artist, with an extraordinary eye for harmony, proportion, and natural beauty.
I am Italian, live in Rome, and have also lived in the United States. I could have chosen surgery in either country. My decision was never about cost, but about finding the surgeon I trusted most. And I found him in Istanbul 🇹🇷
Initially, I had reservations about traveling abroad for surgery, especially to a country with a different culture. If you share those concerns, I completely understand. But Istanbul exceeded my expectations: a beautiful, modern city, with outstanding medical facilities. The hospital where I underwent surgery was so impressive that I jokingly compared it favorably to my five-star hotel! The quality of care and professionalism were second to none, even compared with my experiences in Italy and the United States.
What made this experience truly extraordinary, however, was the human side of it.
From my very first message, Dr. Kaplan’s assistant, Mr. Mahir, was exceptional. Kind, knowledgeable, attentive, and fluent in English, he answered every question, even while on vacation. And unlike those who disappear after surgery, he continues to be available and supportive months later, always in close contact with Dr. Kaplan.
Dr. Kaplan himself combines extraordinary surgical skill with qualities I deeply admire: sensitivity, discretion, refinement, and genuine kindness. I believe creating beauty requires more than technical excellence. It takes an artist’s eye and a sensitive soul. He possesses both.
I had my rhinoplasty on July 7, 2026 and now, in October, I couldn’t be happier. My results are beautiful, natural, and perfectly harmonious with my face. I genuinely couldn’t have asked for more.
I am sharing my experience because I remember the years of research, doubts, and uncertainty. I hope my story offers reassurance to anyone considering this important decision.

First time ever getting rhinoplasty done and can I just say Dr Yunus Kaplan and his team exceeded my expectations.
I reached out to the team on WhatsApp, they were amazing! They explained the whole process, told me to send photos and explained everything.
Despite living in Sydney Australia, I felt like I was home. The level of care and expertise is beyond amazing. From the in person consultation, to the operative procedure, hospital stay and aftercare is beyond what I could have imagined!
It gave me the confidence and the trust you need as a patient and expect from the medical team and your operating doctor!
So far I am close to two months post op and can I just say, my breathing is so much more better than before. Goodbye to mouth breathing!! Best decision I’ve ever made!

I came from Toronto to have my rhinoplasty done by Dr. Yunus Kaplan and I can confidently say I would recommend him a thousand times over. From the moment I arrived, the entire process was so smooth, organized, and professional. You are truly taken care of every step of the way.
His assistant Mahir is genuinely so amazing at his job and makes the whole experience so much easier and less stressful. He’s always there to answer questions, help with anything you need, and guide you through the entire process from beginning to end. He’s honestly one of a kind.
The hospital staff were also incredible. I felt extremely well cared for before and after surgery. After the operation, all medications were provided and the nurses constantly checked in to make sure I was comfortable and healing properly. The level of care and attention you receive is honestly unmatched.
Dr. Yunus Kaplan is truly an artist at what he does. He takes his time with you, explains everything clearly, and I had complete trust in him from the very beginning. I’m so happy with my experience and beyond grateful to him and his entire team for making me feel comfortable, safe, and cared for throughout this journey.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Kaplan and his amazing team. From start to finish, the entire experience was beyond my expectations. Traveling from the U.S. to Turkey for surgery was a big decision and honestly a bit nerve-wracking, but I knew right away that I was in the best hands.
I had originally been deciding between Dr. Kaplan and another surgeon, but communication made all the difference. While the other clinic was slow and unhelpful, Mahir (Dr. Kaplan’s assistant) was incredibly attentive from day one — answering every question, keeping me updated, and making sure I felt supported throughout the entire process.
Even when we arrived late Sunday night after office hours, Mahir waited for us to get to the hotel and met me at the hospital for my pre-surgery bloodwork. The next morning was my consultation and surgery. Dr. Kaplan was warm, patient, and detailed — he explained everything clearly and even created a 3D rendering showing what my results would look like. Spoiler alert: my nose turned out exactly like that rendering!
The surgery and recovery went smoothly. I did have a bit of acid reflux afterward (unrelated to the procedure), but Dr. Kaplan and his team went above and beyond. He personally came back to the hospital and stayed for hours to make sure I was okay — that kind of care is rare.
Unlike my past experiences in the U.S., where you’re often sent home right after surgery, I stayed overnight in the hospital with constant check-ins and care. The next morning, both Dr. Kaplan and Mahir stopped by again to check on me and go over my medications in detail.
The recovery wasn’t painful, just a little uncomfortable from the splints. Six days later, I went back to have them removed — and when I saw my new nose, I was speechless. It looked absolutely perfect, just like the 3D model.
I truly couldn’t recommend Dr. Kaplan and his team enough. They’re kind, professional, and genuinely care about their patients. I know for sure that the level of attention and care I received in Turkey is something I never would’ve experienced in the U.S. I’m beyond thrilled with my results and so thankful to Dr. Kaplan and his entire team. 💛

This is my fourth rhinoplasty, so it was obviously a reconstructive surgery. Dr. Yunus Kaplan did an amazing job! I am only two weeks out of surgery and I can already see the amazing results. His team is absolutely amazing, and I mean his entire staff but especially Mahir, he’s extremely attentive and always responds with any doubt you have. He goes above and beyond. I would 100% recommend traveling to Istanbul to get your rhinoplasty with Dr. Yunus Kaplan.
