JUVENIS is a private medical centre in the historic first district of Vienna, a few minutes' walk from Stephansplatz. It is an outpatient group practice rather than a hospital: patients come for consultations, diagnostics, day procedures and aesthetic treatments. Sixteen doctors from eight specialties work under one roof, and the practice is barrier-free.

Dermatology and Skin Cancer

Dermatology is the centre's largest department, with four consultant dermatologists, treating conditions including:

The practice places a strong emphasis on skin cancer. Digital mole mapping is used to screen for suspicious lesions and monitor them over time, and dermatosurgery is available for removal. Melanoma, basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma are diagnosed and treated here, and for certain superficial skin cancers and precancerous lesions the centre offers daylight photodynamic therapy, which avoids a surgical scar.

Team and Recognition

JUVENIS was co-founded in 2012 by dermatologist a.o. Univ. Prof. Dr. Tamara Kopp, who still practises there. In the 2026 KURIER doctor ranking, four JUVENIS physicians were named among Austria's most popular doctors: Prof. Kopp, dermatologist Dr. Christine Bangert, plastic surgeon Dr. Igor Pona and plastic and maxillofacial surgeon Dr. Dr. Bernhard Moser. The practice itself was named one of the most popular group practices of 2026 in the same KURIER and IMWF ranking.
