Dariusz Michalik

A specialist in General Surgery and Surgical Oncology, he graduated from the Medical University of Łódź in 1990. He earned his PhD in Medical Sciences from the Medical University of Łódź in 2003.

His primary area of expertise is the comprehensive surgical treatment of breast cancer using advanced oncological and reconstructive surgical techniques. His practice includes a wide range of breast procedures, including breast reconstruction, breast reduction, reshaping, and augmentation of both the affected and the healthy breast, with each treatment plan tailored to the individual needs and expectations of the patient.

He continuously advances his professional qualifications by participating in specialized training programs. Between 2015 and 2017, he completed a postgraduate program in Oncological, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Breast Surgery at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

With more than 28 years of surgical experience, he has dedicated the last several years of his practice almost exclusively to the diagnosis and surgical treatment of breast diseases. He regularly attends international congresses, symposia, and advanced training courses focused on the latest developments in breast cancer treatment, held in cities including Barcelona, Milan, Paris, London, Washington, D.C., and Miami.

He has also completed numerous clinical fellowships and observerships at leading international institutions, including St. Thomas’ Hospital in London, Institut Gustave Roussy in Paris, the European Institute of Oncology in Milan, and Klinik Pyramide in Zurich, where he further refined his expertise in oncological and reconstructive breast surgery.

His principal area of expertise is the comprehensive surgical management of breast cancer using advanced oncological and reconstructive techniques. He is committed to achieving the best possible outcomes, both from an oncological and aesthetic perspective. His practice includes reconstructive and corrective procedures following breast cancer treatment, helping patients restore the natural appearance, symmetry, and function of the breasts while improving their quality of life.
