Clinical ExpertiseWith over 40 years of clinical experience, Dr. Gao has completed advanced training at theChinese PLA General Hospital (301 Hospital) and the Department of Interventional Radiologyat Chonnam National University in South Korea. He also served as a Senior Visiting Scholar at

the Heart Center Leipzig, University of Leipzig, Germany.He specializes in the endovascular and minimally invasive treatment of complex conditions,including: Aortic Diseases: Endovascular treatment of acute aortic dissection and complexabdominal aortic aneurysms. Ischemic Cerebrovascular Diseases: Interventions for head andneck vascular stenosis and acute stroke. Visceral Arterial Diseases: Treatment of renovascularhypertension and ischemic bowel disease

Peripheral Vascular Diseases: Interventional treatment for lower extremity arteriosclerosisobliterans (ASO) and diabetic foot disease. Pioneering Work: Dr. Gao was among the earliestpractitioners to conduct Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunts (TIPS) for portalhypertension and Uterine Artery Embolization (UAE) for uterine fibroids.
