Penile implant surgery is a permanent treatment option for men with erectile dysfunction who have not benefited from other treatments. The 3-piece inflatable implant is placed fully inside the body and is not visible from the outside. You control it with a small pump to have an erection when you want. The surgery is performed at Optimed International Hospital by Specialist Dr. Sait Aygun, Urologist.

Before your arrival
- A color penile Doppler ultrasound is required. If possible, please have it done in your home country and bring the report.
- If you have diabetes, please send us a recent HbA1c result. Your blood sugar and any active infection need to be under control before surgery.
- Patients with Peyronie’s disease or previous penile surgery can also have this procedure.

Your recovery timeline
- Day 1: You arrive in the morning. Examination, tests and surgery take place on the same day. You stay overnight at the hospital with your companion.
- Day 2: Discharge and transfer to your hotel.
- Days 3-5: Return to daily life. You can fly home on Day 5 (or on Day 7 depending on your recovery).
- Day 7 or 10: Check-up with a urologist in your home country, or by sending photos to your surgeon.
- First 4 weeks: The implant stays partly inflated during healing. Please do not inflate or deflate it yourself.
- Around week 4: Second visit to Turkey for a check-up and in-person training on how to use your implant. This is usually a day trip.
- After 6 weeks: You can return to sexual activity, as approved by your surgeon.

- Flight tickets for both visits (discount codes included)
- Hotel accommodation, including any overnight stay during your second visit. We can arrange special rates at our partner hotels.
- Medications prescribed after discharge (antibiotics and pain relief)
- Graft use in complex Peyronie’s or revision cases (additional fee)
- Surgery fee for implant replacement. The warranty covers the device only.
- Any additional treatment if medically required
