Clinic Lottez is a private plastic surgery facility in Salvador, Brazil. It opened in 2024 in the Caminho das Árvores district. Dr. Gustavo Maltez and Dr. Diogo Lobão lead the medical team. They work alongside nutritionists, physiotherapists, and psychologists.
Multidisciplinary Surgical Planning
The clinic uses a structured pathway called "Dream Day." Specialists perform an initial evaluation to align surgical goals with what's anatomically possible. This phase includes creating a financial plan and a personalized medical schedule. Pre-operative preparation connects directly with ongoing post-operative monitoring.
Every procedure follows a team-based approach throughout the full care journey. This includes consultations before surgery and structured support during recovery. For complex body contouring, the clinic uses BIS monitoring during general anesthesia. This technology tracks sedation depth, helping ensure safe anesthetic delivery during long procedures.
Plastic Surgery and Body Contouring
Specialists focus on body transformations through combined surgical techniques. The clinic offers Mommy Makeover programs that address changes after pregnancy. These procedures are tailored to each patient and may include:
- Mastopexy with or without implants for breast lifting
- Lipoabdominoplasty HD to combine fat removal with muscle definition
- Liposuction 360 for circumferential body contouring
- Gluteal remodeling (Brazilian Butt Lift) to enhance hip and buttock shape
For male patients, the clinic performs lipo masculina. This procedure uses 3D assessment to highlight natural muscle contours. Surgeons also perform facial procedures, including rhinoplasty and facial fat transfer. The latter uses the patient's own fat to restore volume and reshape the face.
Body Lifting procedures can combine multiple contouring steps into one surgery. This often includes 360-degree abdominoplasty and breast lifting. Specialists also treat patients needing panniculectomy to remove significant excess skin. A nursing team provides continuous assistance during these larger surgeries.
Advanced Surgical Technologies
ArgoPlasma uses an argon plasma jet to stimulate collagen production. This triggers skin retraction – helpful after fat removal. To minimize post-operative pain, surgeons use SAFER ultrasonic technology. It breaks down fat cells gently, reducing tissue trauma.
Physicians also use Vibrofit for vibrolipoaspiration. This device loosens tissue through vibrations, allowing less invasive fat removal. These technologies reduce surgical trauma and speed up healing. After surgery, the team applies special dressings and laser therapy to protect incisions.
Structured Recovery and Physiotherapy
Post-operative care follows specific protocols to control swelling and discomfort. Physiotherapists use photobiomodulation to assist tissue repair and reduce edema. Patients do therapeutic exercises focused on controlled movement and breathing techniques. The clinic also provides home nursing visits during the first recovery days.
Tummy tuck recovery includes posture and walking guidance. Patients typically return to an upright position within 10 days. The nursing team monitors hydration and protein intake throughout recovery. Both factors are essential for safe healing after major surgery.
International Patient Coordination
Foreign patients can access care through a dedicated concierge service. The telemedicine option lets international patients complete their "Dream Day" consultation remotely. This helps plan the surgical journey before traveling to Brazil.
Medical consultations and support are available in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. The concierge team handles logistics from first contact through recovery. International patients receive the same multidisciplinary support as local residents. Staff members are trained specifically in foreign-patient coordination.
