Surgeon Credentials and Certifications
Dr. Francisco Rodríguez leads the clinical work at Imperial Health Clinic. He has over 15 years of experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Rodríguez completed his specialized training at the Central University of Caracas in Venezuela.
His professional qualifications include certifications from several major medical organizations:
- SODOCIPRE (Dominican Society of Plastic Surgery)
- ASPS (American Society of Plastic Surgeons)
- ISAPS (International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery)
- Ibero-American Federation of Plastic Surgery
- Colegio Medico Dominicano
These credentials verify that surgical practices meet recognized safety and quality standards. Patients travel from the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, and Turks & Caicos.
Specialties in Body Contouring
The clinic takes a personalized approach to body contouring based on individual anatomy. Dr. Rodríguez performs liposculpture to reshape the midsection and limbs. He notes that marketing terms like "Lipo 4K" or "Lipo HD" refer to customized liposculpture techniques.
Available body procedures include:
- 360 Liposuction to sculpt the entire midsection for an hourglass silhouette
- Tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) including the Fleur De Lis technique for massive weight loss cases
- Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) using fat grafting or implants
- Vaser liposuction for precise fat removal
Every surgical plan matches the patient's body type and goals. This means results look balanced and natural rather than artificial.
Breast and Facial Surgery
Breast procedures address both aesthetic and functional concerns. Dr. Rodríguez performs mastopexy (breast lift) with or without implants. In some cases, he uses the patient's own tissue to provide lift after implant removal.
The clinic also offers breast reduction without implants. This procedure is often combined with an arm lift to improve mobility. Patients frequently report reduced back pain and better quality of life after these surgeries.
Facial rejuvenation centers on facial lifting and chin liposuction. These procedures restore a youthful appearance while maintaining natural facial expressions. Dr. Rodríguez also manages reconstructive cases, including keloid scar treatment.
International Patient Services
The clinic provides a clear pathway for patients traveling from abroad. The process typically begins with a virtual consultation for initial assessment. Once the patient arrives in Santo Domingo, they receive in-person care and surgical evaluation.
Coordination staff help manage the logistics of the medical journey:
- Bilingual support in English and Spanish
- Luxury hotel-style accommodation arrangements
- Guidance from first contact through recovery
- Access to dedicated patient coordinators
The surgical team monitors recovery progress closely. Testimonials from US-based patients highlight the continuous support provided during the healing phase.
