Lael Dental Esthetic is a private clinic in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The facility focuses on advanced esthetic dentistry for international patients. It operates as a single-specialty center for restorative and cosmetic transformations.
International Patient Care and Statistics
The clinic has treated more than 1,000 international patients seeking smile makeovers. These patients travel primarily from the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada. Others arrive from the Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago, and Jamaica.
Over the past 8 years, the team has completed more than 1,000 smile designs. Dr. Daniel Arredondo Durán leads the clinical team with around 8 years of experience. He holds a license from the Dominican Ministry of Public Health and is a member of the Colegio Dominicano de Odontólogos.
Advanced Esthetic Dentistry
The clinic specializes in luxury smile design and full oral rehabilitation. Specialists offer several restorative options:
- IPS e.max porcelain veneers
- Layered Emax porcelain veneers
- Composite resin veneers
- Dental implants and implant-supported restorations
- Composite-to-porcelain veneer upgrades
Porcelain veneers are typically completed within 24 to 72 hours. Composite veneers can be finished in as little as 12 hours for specific cases. This fast workflow lets patients complete treatment in a single trip. Every plan includes a smile try-in before permanent restorations are made.
Dental implants are part of full smile rehabilitation cases. Dr. Daniel personally reviews health information and X-rays to prepare these plans. Patients receive their full clinical records after the procedure, so local dentists can continue care in the patient's home country.
Diagnostic and Treatment Technology
The facility uses digital tools to plan and execute dental transformations. The team applies Digital Smile Design (DSD) to preview results before starting work. This computer-aided process customizes the smile to each patient's face.
For accurate impressions, the clinic uses Cerec Omnicam scanning. This technology creates digital diagnostic models without traditional molds. Specialists use these scans to design IPS e.max porcelain restorations. These materials are chosen for durability and can last up to 20 years.
Services for International Travelers
The experience begins with a free 30-minute video consultation. Patients can send photos via WhatsApp beforehand for a real-time review. During the call, the team provides a full price quote and timeline. Logistics are coordinated from the moment the patient lands.
Available travel services include:
- Airport pickup and private transportation
- Hotel accommodation near the clinic
- Private transfers between the hotel and all appointments
- Support in English and Spanish
The clinic offers lifelong online follow-up as part of its care. If a veneer comes off, they will reattach it at no extra charge. This covers both clinical work and laboratory costs if the patient is in the United States. Specialists stay available via WhatsApp for any post-travel questions.
