Smile Design Colombia is a private cosmetic dentistry clinic in Medellín's El Poblado neighborhood. The practice operates from a single specialized branch and serves as a dental tourism hub in the region. It treats patients from around the world, with many traveling from the United States.
Experience and Patient Care
The clinic has over 8 years of experience in restorative and aesthetic dentistry. During this time, the team has treated more than 1,000 patients. Its consistent track record shows in a 5-star Google rating. All treatments take place in a modern environment designed for international travelers.
Dental Specialties and Methods
Dr. Tatiana Vásquez leads the clinic and personally performs key cosmetic and restorative procedures. The practice covers several specialized areas:
- Porcelain and Composite Veneers: Used for complete smile makeovers or minor shape corrections.
- Dental Implants: A permanent solution that replaces missing teeth using a titanium post as a root.
- Professional Teeth Whitening: Removes deep stains without damaging enamel.
- Orthodontics: Both traditional braces and clear aligners are available.
- General Dentistry: Includes fillings, extractions, and emergency care.
Each treatment plan is tailored to the patient's facial features for a natural result.
Veneer Techniques
The clinic offers two main veneer types based on patient goals. Porcelain veneers are the most durable option in cosmetic dentistry. For a lower investment or minor corrections, composite veneers work well. Both improve tooth color, size, and alignment.
Restorative Solutions
Dental implants provide a durable, long-term replacement for lost teeth. The procedure places a titanium post into the jawbone to act as a sturdy root. Once secure, a custom crown attaches to the top. This mimics the function and appearance of natural teeth.
Services for International Patients
The clinic simplifies travel for dental care through an international-friendly process. It starts with a free virtual consultation via WhatsApp. Patients send three photos of their smile to receive a treatment plan and price quote. This helps travelers plan before leaving home.
The office sits in a prime district near hotels and residential rentals. After treatment, the clinic stays in touch through WhatsApp follow-up. This gives patients direct access to their dental team once home. Dr. Tatiana Vásquez remains the primary contact throughout care.
