Top Dentist Bávaro is a private dental clinic in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. It opened in 2016 and has four departments focused on restorative and cosmetic dental care. Dr. Jesus Colmenares and Dr. Celia Pepen lead the team. They treat international patients from the USA, Canada, and Europe every week.
The clinic organizes dental tourism for travelers, particularly from Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, and Quebec. Treatment schedules fit common 7–10 day vacation windows. Patients receive transparent treatment plans in advance, so they can coordinate flights and resort stays. The clinic communicates in several languages:
Staff provide guidance via WhatsApp and help with local travel logistics. This includes airport transfers from Punta Cana International Airport. Lodging is available next to the clinic.
Implant care typically follows a two-trip pathway. The first trip lasts 5–10 days for exams, 3D scans, and implant placement. After 3–6 months of healing, patients return for 4–7 days to receive final crowns or bridges. The clinic offers several implant methods:
Specialists adapt protocols for senior patients. They review medical histories for diabetes and bone density concerns. They also coordinate care for patients on blood thinners to manage bleeding risks. Most patients resume light activities within 48–72 hours after surgery.
The clinic provides aesthetic treatments alongside general dental care. Doctors use high-strength ceramic for porcelain veneers and offer composite options for surface restorations. Dental bonding is available as a less invasive alternative to veneers for minor chips or gaps. Other services include laser teeth whitening and zirconia-based crowns.
General dentistry includes checkups with detailed exams of existing crowns, implants, and bite alignment. Specialists perform root canal treatments and orthodontic alignment. The clinic uses zirconia and advanced hybrid materials for final prosthetics. These ensure durability and a natural appearance.
Top Dentist Bávaro uses modern diagnostic tools for treatment accuracy and patient safety. The facility relies on digital and 3D scanning for implant planning and cosmetic assessments. Digital X-rays provide high-resolution images while reducing radiation exposure. The clinic uses high-quality titanium implants and trusted materials for all restorative work. After surgery, patients remain under observation before returning to their lodging.
