URO.pl – Polskie Centrum Urologii Zaawansowanej is a specialized urology center in Piaseczno, Poland. Founded in 2018, the clinic handles the full care pathway for urologic conditions. Diagnostics, surgery, and recovery planning all happen under one roof. The center has three departments focused on minimally invasive urologic care.Since opening, the clinic has treated over 20,000 patients. The team performs more than 500 robotic operations each year. Specialists also complete around 1,000 laser procedures annually. The Modern Healthcare Institute recognized Dr. Damian Sujecki among the surgeons with the highest robotic procedure volume in 2025.
Specialties and Surgical Procedures
The clinic covers four main areas of urology. Robotic and laser techniques help reduce recovery time.
Prostate Diagnostics and Treatment
Specialists treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and prostate cancer while preserving healthy tissue. The team has completed 4,000 HoLEP procedures – a laser-based prostate enucleation. Other BPH options include ThuLEP laser treatment and water vapor therapy.
For cancer cases, surgeons perform robotic radical prostatectomy with the da Vinci system. This approach uses six small incisions and a 3D magnified view, so precision improves significantly.
Kidney Stone Management
The center treats complex kidney stones using several endoscopic methods:
- RIRS – laser removal with flexible endoscopes; 6,000 cases completed to date
- Mini PCNL – small-access removal of larger stones
- ECIRS – combined endoscopic approach for complex cases
- SEBS – simultaneous treatment of stones in both kidneys
These techniques fragment and remove stones without large incisions.
Urologic Oncology and Reconstruction
Surgeons treat bladder and kidney tumors using robotic platforms. For non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer, the clinic offers HIVEC – hyperthermic intravesical chemotherapy.
Robotic procedures include radical cystectomy, radical nephrectomy, and kidney tumor resection. The team also performs robotic pyeloplasty to repair kidney drainage.
Urethral Care and General Urology
The clinic treats urethral strictures with internal optical urethrotomy and urethral dilatation. Most endoscopic urethral procedures take 15 to 30 minutes. Vasectomy services and focal urology treatments are also available.
After endoscopic care, patients typically use a catheter for several days. Full activity returns within 2–6 weeks.
Advanced Diagnostic Technologies
The diagnostic department provides high-resolution imaging to plan surgeries. The facility uses Micro USG and the Koelis System for fusion biopsies. These combine ultrasound and MRI data for precise prostate sampling.
Other tools include CT scans, flexible cystoscopy for bladder inspection, and retrograde urethrography to map urethral problems. Patients move from initial evaluation to specialized testing within the same center.
Medical Team and Expertise
Six doctors staff the clinic, including Professor Jakub Dobruch and specialists Marek Zawadzki and Przemyslaw Zugaj. Several hold FEBU certification from the European Board of Urology. Dr. Damian Sujecki trained in urology in Germany and Portugal.
The clinic also serves as a training hub. Over 1,000 doctors have learned here through more than 200 sessions and workshops.
International Patient Services
The center welcomes patients from abroad. Staff and specialists offer consultations in English and Polish. Patients can coordinate diagnostics and surgery through a structured pathway. This includes pre-operative nursing preparation and post-operative monitoring.
