Dr. Li Yanwen is an early leader in functional neurosurgery in China. He is a founder of neurosurgical navigation in the country. He is a Visiting Professor at the University of Turin. His awards include the First Prize of the Shenzhen Science and Technology Progress Award and the Third Prize of the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.

He specializes in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery. He has over 20 years of experience and has completed more than 10,000 surgical localization procedures for Parkinson’s disease, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy.
