Dr. Nir Kleinmann, MD, directs the Endourology and Kidney Stones Unit at Sheba Medical Center. He is an expert in minimally invasive urology and urologic oncology. His focus is the kidney and upper urinary tract. He was named among Israel’s Best Doctors for 2025–2026 by Forbes and ResultMed.

He is a pioneer of kidney‑sparing laser surgery. He uses a dual‑laser system with neodymium and holmium for complex tumors. His expertise includes UTUC, kidney and prostate cancer, kidney stones, and BPH.

His research includes the OLYMPUS trial on chemoablation for UTUC. He has more than 60 publications.

He is an Israeli board‑certified urologist. He is a Fellow of the American Endourology Society and a member of the Israeli Urological Association and the EAU. He completed fellowships in Endourology and Minimally Invasive Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University. He also completed a fellowship in Kidney Cancer Research at McMaster University.

Dr. Dorit Zilberman, MD, is a Senior Urologist at Sheba Medical Center. She is a pioneer of robotic and minimally invasive urologic surgery in Israel with over 20 years of experience. Her work focuses on urologic oncology, robotic and laparoscopic surgery, and endourology. She helped launch the da Vinci robotic surgery program at Sheba. Her expertise includes kidney, bladder, and prostate cancers, as well as laser lithotripsy for stones.

She completed advanced training in robotic laparoscopic surgery and endourology at Duke University Medical Center. She is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at Tel Aviv University. She has authored more than 160 scientific publications. She has received awards from the Israeli and American Urological Associations. She was listed in Forbes Israel Best Doctors in 2024. She is a member of the Israeli, American, and European Urological Associations and the Endourological Society.

Professor Jair Bar, MD, PhD, is a thoracic oncologist and Deputy Director of the Cancer Center at Sheba Medical Center. He leads the Thoracic Oncology Unit. He treats lung cancer, including advanced non-small cell cases. His care includes medical oncology, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy.

He runs a translational research lab focused on resistance to immunotherapy. He has published on exhaled-breath cancer metabolism and on angiogenesis inhibition in lung cancer.

He has chaired the Israel Lung Cancer Group since 2003. He is a member of the Israel Society of Clinical Oncology and Radiotherapy, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Association for Cancer Research. He is board-certified in Medical Oncology and Radiotherapy Oncology. He is a Senior Lecturer at Tel Aviv University.

Dr. Barak Rosenzweig, MD, directs the Urological Oncology Service at Sheba Medical Center. He is a uro-oncologic surgeon with nearly 20 years of experience. He treats complex urologic cancers with advanced robotic and minimally invasive methods. He is listed among Israel’s Best Doctors by Forbes.

Expertise includes tumors of the prostate, kidney, bladder, testis, and upper urinary tract. He performs robotic radical prostatectomy, kidney-sparing partial nephrectomy, and advanced laparoscopy. Diagnostics include MRI-guided fusion biopsy and imaging-based personalized planning.

He completed a Urological Oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He is a Senior Physician in the Department of Urology and a Clinical Senior Lecturer at Tel Aviv University. He is a graduate of the Sheba Talpiot program. He is an active researcher with over 200 publications in urologic oncology.
