Dr. Esra Esim Buyukbayrak is an obstetrics and gynecology specialist and a perinatology (maternal–fetal medicine) subspecialist. She has practiced at Memorial Göztepe Hospital since 2025. She served as Head of Department and Clinical Administrative and Training Director at the Marmara University Faculty of Medicine from 2022 to 2025. Dr. Tunc Ozdemir is a leading urologist in Istanbul. He specializes in uro-oncology, focusing on prostate cancer and kidney tumor treatment. He is a pioneer in robotic surgery. Dr. Ozdemir helped establish Turkey’s first robotic urologic surgery program. He also performed the country’s first robotic sacrocolpopexy operations.

He is Professor and Head of Urology at Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital and Bilim University. Dr. Ozdemir has received several international awards. These include the Karl Storz Second Prize at SEEM 2010 and Best Video Presentation at ERUS 2010. He is a member of the European Association of Urology and Turkish Urology societies. Dr. Umit Naci Karacal is a specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery. He currently practices at Memorial Ankara Hospital. He has held faculty positions at Izmir Bakirçay University Faculty of Medicine and Black Sea Technical University. From 2001 to 2023, he advanced from Associate Professor to Professor at these institutions.

Dr. Karacal graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. He completed his specialty training and chief assistantship in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Ankara Numune Hospital. With over twenty years of experience in academic and clinical roles, he has made important contributions to his field.

After completing his medical doctorate education at Gazi University School of Medicine, which is located in the capital city of Ankara he carried on to his Orthopaedic and Traumatology fellowship training at the same university. After his fellow training, he completed his mandatory governmental and military duties as an orthopaedic surgeon between 2008 and 2011. He later started his Orthopaedic career in Istanbul Acıbadem Hospitals network. Between 2013 and 2022 he served as an academic member of the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar School of Medicine where he was entitled Associate Professor in 2021. He is now private practicing in his own clinic in Istanbul. 

Starting from the year 2014 he has been especially focused on the fields of patient-specific orthopaedic surgery, computer-aided surgical planning, 3D printed custom surgical guides and implants. These fields are very novel even throughout the world. He performed many surgeries as the first examples of their own for Turkey. He mainly uses his special interest and knowledge on patient-specific orthopaedics to surgically treat technically challenging cases of malunion, bone deformity and complex arthroplasty cases including revision arthroplasty.

Dr. Murat Akkus is a Professor of Pediatric Gastroenterology based in Istanbul. He practices at Memorial Bahçelievler (2019–present) and Memorial Ataşehir (2018–present). He previously led the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition and the Department of Pediatrics at İnönü University. Before that, he headed Pediatric Gastroenterology at Atatürk University.

He has 174 international and 73 national publications. He is the editor of 7 books. He has written 3 international and 25 national book chapters. He completed a fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition at Ege University (1996–1998). In 2011, he was a visiting scholar at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. He received İnönü University Outstanding Achievement Awards.

Dr. Sabahattin Gunduz is a cardiologist at Memorial Göztepe Hospital (2025–present). He previously worked as a cardiology specialist at VM Medical Park Pendik Hospital (2018–2025).
