Professor Kim Jong-yeon is a gastroenterologist at Myongji Hospital. He treats diseases of the esophagus, stomach, colon, and liver, including cirrhosis and hepatitis. He performs therapeutic endoscopy, such as endoscopic polypectomy. He also serves as Deputy Director of the International Healthcare Center.
He is a member of the Liver Failure Center. He works with teams in hepatology, liver cancer, and transplantation to provide coordinated care for advanced liver disease and for transplant candidates.

Member of the Korean Association of Internal Medicine, the Korean Society of Gastroenterology, and the Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
