Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burak Günaydın is a specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology. He sees patients at the Optimed International Çorlu Hospital, Orthopedics and Traumatology Outpatient Clinic. His work includes anterior discectomy, nucleoplasty, and spinal instrumentation and fixation. He graduated from Dicle University. He completed neurosurgery training at Kartal Training and Research Hospital. He also finished an internship at Helios Clinic in Hamburg.

Prof. Ben Boursi is a physician in the Gastrointestinal Cancer Department at Sheba Medical Center. He specializes in internal medicine, medical oncology, and cancer epidemiology. He is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. He earned a B.Med.Sc (summa cum laude) and an MD (magna cum laude) from Tel Aviv University.

He completed clinical and research fellowships in GI oncology and cancer epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania. He also completed electives at MD Anderson and Mayo Clinic. He founded the ECOG-ACRIN Microbiome Working Group. His microbiome-oncology research has been published in leading journals, including Science, and highlighted by ASCO.

He developed predictive models for early diagnosis of colorectal and pancreatic cancers. These models are now in clinical evaluation. He holds an academic appointment at Tel Aviv University. He is also an Associate Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Tanawat Amphansap is an orthopedic surgeon focused on osteoporosis and bone disease in older adults. He earned his MD with Second Class Honors from the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, in 2004.

His credentials include a Diploma in Orthopedic Surgery from Police General Hospital (2010) and a Fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma at the same hospital (2011). Dr. Josef Grohs is an experienced orthopedist who specializes in spine surgery. He has over 30 years of clinical practice. Dr. Grohs earned his medical degree from the University of Vienna. He also holds diplomas in Clinical Investigation and Manual Medicine. He received his specialist diploma in Orthopaedic Surgery in 1998 and completed his habilitation in 2006.

Dr. Grohs has served as Deputy Chief of the Spine Unit at the Medical University of Vienna. He has chaired AO-Spine Austria since 2015. From 2009 to 2011, he was President of the Austrian Spine Society. Dr. Grohs has performed surgeries in several countries, including Ghana and Kenya. Dr. Abraham Avigdor, MD, is Director of the Institute of Hematology and Co‑Director of the Hematology & Bone Marrow Transplantation Division at Sheba Medical Center. He is an international leader in lymphoma, CAR‑T, and advanced hemato‑oncology with more than 35 years of experience. His clinical focus includes lymphomas, multiple myeloma, and complex blood cancers.

He is a pioneer in CAR‑T integration. He leads cellular therapy and bone marrow transplantation programs (autologous and allogeneic). He also advances stem cell therapies and precision diagnostics, including PET/CT‑based prognostics. His work includes immunotherapy and targeted regimens and the development of innovative, data‑driven protocols.

He collaborates with LYSA, EMCL, and international PET groups. He has authored more than 130 publications. Key roles include Founder and President of the Israeli Lymphoma Working Group, former Chair of the Israeli Lymphoma Study Group, and Senior Lecturer at Tel Aviv University. Prof. Avichai Shimoni, MD, is Director of Bone Marrow Transplantation at Sheba Medical Center. He is a hemato-oncologist with over 30 years of experience in bone marrow transplantation, cellular therapies, and advanced blood cancer care.

He leads a high-volume program for complex, high-risk blood cancers. He performs allogeneic and autologous transplants. He also provides CAR T-cell therapy for leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. He completed a bone marrow transplantation fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center.

He is Chairman of Hematology at Tel Aviv University and a Professor of Hematology. He has authored more than 250 scientific papers. His research focuses on CAR T-cell therapy and stem cell transplantation. He is often listed among Israel's Best Doctors (Forbes 2025 and 2026).

Dr. Yaacov Lawrence, MA, MBBS, MRCP, is Chair of Radiation Oncology at Sheba Medical Center. He has nearly 30 years of experience in precision radiation oncology and neuro-oncology.

He is an expert in advanced radiation therapy and radiosurgery. He performs stereotactic radiosurgery for brain tumors. He leads Sheba’s GI Cancer Program in gastrointestinal oncology. He also provides precision care for lung and prostate cancers. He pioneered celiac plexus radiosurgery for severe pain from pancreatic cancer.

Training and credentials: MA and MBBS (Cambridge and UCLH); MRCP (RCP); Radiation Oncology fellowship (Thomas Jefferson University). Honors include the ASCO Young Investigator Award and Fellow of ASTRO (FASTRO). He has authored over 280 publications. He is Director of the Center for Translational Radiation Oncology and an Associate Professor at Tel Aviv University.
